Like I mentioned two weeks ago, I have a thing for funny women. They get me. And, like I also said, I distinctly remember watching Saturday Night Live late into the night in high school, just to catch the Weekend Update with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
Then there was Mean Girls. Mean Girls will always be one of my favorite movies. It’s just… it’s a classic. It’s humor that I find irresistible. It’s everything I want a movie to be—heartwarming with sidesplitting laughter thrown in. Witty, sharp as a tack, yet relatable. Mean Girls is everything. And it was written by Tina Fey.
That was when I knew I loved Tina Fey. Miss Norbury made me love her.
Not only that, but she’s inspirational to women. She tells them to work hard for what they want. And they do! They listen to her, because she’s doing it. She’s living what she preaches.
Did I miss any reasons? I purposely didn’t mention 30 Rock because I can’t stand Alec Baldwin, and therefore couldn’t get into the show. But she’s great on it, too, from the little I’ve seen.
