Monday: Woke up at 4 am. Finished some homework (that was due at 7 am, hence the early wake up call). Walked Ole. Went to my Teaching Assistant office hours. Went to my job, where I had to take a rescheduled (and very important, hint hint) phone call. Went to the grocery store. Came home and cooked. Worked on PowerPoint for presentation the next day. Went to bed at around 10 pm.
Tuesday: Woke up at 5 am. Walked Ole. Went back to Teaching Assistant job—rare for a Tuesday—to give said presentation. Went to my job. Came home. Helped H make omelets for dinner. Worked on proofreading for a friend of mine—my internship at her company ended, but she has emailed me a couple times since then, and I’m happy to help. Fell asleep (accidentally) at around 8 pm. Went to bed.
Wednesday (today): Woke up at 5 am. Walked Ole. Went to my job, where I finished proofreading, finished my homework, and watched some hilarious YouTube videos about people trying Minnesota food for the first time. Went to my Teaching Assistant office hours. Sat in on a guest speaker. Sent proofreading assignment off. Now I’m waiting for class to start. Then I have to finish homework for my other class.
Thursday (tomorrow): Wake up at 5 am. Walk Ole. Go to my job, where I will start working on grading for my Teaching Assistant job and on some upcoming final projects, along with having a phone conference/meeting with a professor. Work night lab, which ends at 9 pm. Which means it will be almost 10 pm by the time I get home.
Friday: Wake up at 5 am. Walk Ole. Go to my job, where I will continue to work on upcoming projects and dash off to a quick meeting (hint hint) in the late morning during a work break. Finish work. Go home and say goodbye to H and Ole, who will be leaving for their annual hunting trip. Then, FINALLY, Mockingjay Part 1 with K! It will be the best end to this incredibly crazy busy week. And then I fly west on Saturday morning (a preview for my weekend plans post).
It should be fairly obvious why I wasn’t able to write about Shondaland today. I’m hoping to get to it in the early part of my 13-hour work day tomorrow. Hooray…
Welcome to my life, as finals week approaches!
