This song is so new that there isn’t an official video out yet, but here’s an acoustic version of the song.
Don’t get too excited, it’s not the one in LA. But! Here in my home state, one of the local radio stations hosts a Jingle Ball, and K won tickets! And, even cooler, she won meet and greets with Demi Lovato!
This song isn’t sure new or anything, but I love it. It’s catchy, the video promotes things that I support, and guess what? K AND I ARE MEETING DEMI LOVATO TONIGHT!!! More tomorrow, I’m sure. 🙂 -A.
Today is a special day, and it needs a song to go along with it. It’s H and my two-year dating anniversary! And, more importantly, it’s our last dating anniversary before we get a wedding anniversary. Which is exciting news! (257 days, for the record.)
I know that this song has caused some controversy, but I like it. I like how it sounds, and I generally love Carrie Underwood. She’s pretty great, and her voice and range are fantastic. Take what you will from this song. I like it because she states that there is more to life than just … More “Something in the Water” by Carrie Underwood
It’s later than normal, so I’m not going to say a whole lot about this song. You can probably guess why I like it. It’s so sweet. It’s closer to the old school country songs, the ones that don’t refer to woman as “Pretty Little Thing,” for example.

No. Goodness, no. How do I know this, without knowing her personally. Because, guess who directed the video? No, really, … More “Blank Space” Video (!!)
I’ve never reviewed a whole album before, but I felt like it was warranted in this case. Unless you want to hear about Taylor Swift for the rest of the year, each and every Monday. No? Didn’t think so (as much as I love her, I like to have some variety in my music!). First, … More “1989” by Taylor Swift
Okay, this video is hilarious. I thought the song was funny by itself, but the video just makes it a million times better. Why do I like this song? That should be pretty clear, especially for those of you who have been reading this blog from the beginning. I am fairly strong-willed, and for the … More “Girl in a Country Song” by Maddie and Tae
Not only is this a new Lorde song, but it’s also the first song form the Mockingjay Part 1 soundtrack, which Lorde is in charge of. I like running to this song because it’s typical Lorde – it builds as it goes. But what I really love about it is that it’s Katniss. This song … More “Yellow Flicker Beat” by Lorde
